Car Show:

          Saturday, August 8 at 2:00PM Pelion Middle School Mulberry Street Entrance. Pre-Registration $10 / $15 day of show.  Trophy presentations at 5:00PM.  Application above.

 

Boiled Peanuts:

          Pelion Ruritan’s will be selling boiled peanuts Friday and Saturday. Look for the Peanut Building adjacent to the small stage. Boiling 50 bushels of peanuts this year - Locally provided. Cost TBA.

 

Food & Drink:

          The Festival site is Alcohol Free. Our Food Vendors will be offering a wide variety of fabulous festival foods such as Fried Mushrooms, Bloomin’ Onions, Italian Sausages, Philly Cheesesteaks, Turkey legs, Hamburgers & Corndogs, Fried Chicken, Fish Baskets, BBQ, Funnel Cakes, Doughnuts, Shaved Ice, Pizza, & Fried Pickles.

 

Peanuts Your Way Tent:

Library Book Sale: (Friends of the Pelion Branch Library)

         Lots of everything for everyone! Children's books just .25 cents each.

          August 8, 9 AM-2 PM. Located on the small stage.

 

 Frozen T-Shirt Contest:

          1:30 PM, Saturday, August 8 behind the bleachers.  Entry Fee $1.  The first person to get the t-shirt on is the winner. Register at the Peanuts Your Way Tent Friday and Saturday. Ages 12 and up.

 

Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich Eating Contest:

          12:30 PM, Saturday, August 8 behind the bleachers.  Entry Fee $1.00. Register at the Peanuts Your Way Tent  Friday and Saturday. The Winner eats the most PB&J sandwiches in three minutes! Water provided. Cash prize. Ages 10 and up.

 

Peanutty Cooking Contest:

          Friday, August 7 @ Pelion Community Center.  Drop off entries 4:30-6:30. Judging at 6:30 and winners announced on Saturday at 12:00PM on Stage 1.
